At the beginning of August I have been invited to a party of Saatchi & Saatchi, a client of mine. Only now I receivd this video. It was an interesting party. They have made a huge effort and even put up some sand for a beach volleyball field in the yard. Until the last hour it was not clear, if the weaher will hold (as usual this summer), but at the end it was dry and nice that evening. I heard they also had some troubles with the landlord and some other tendants, who didn’t like the idea of a party inside the yard. Unfortunately I have been a little tired that night. Have been out the nights before, since it was around my birthday and I didn’t have much sleep that week.

Too bad my Brazilian friend Paulo couldn’t be there. I think he’d have liked it. Later that night the Saatchi & Saatchi house band played (sorry forgot the name). They performed some cover songs and were really good. That is escpecially note worthy, since they are all working at Saatchi and not professional musicians. Show me another agency with an in-house band. There were also lots of Caipirinhas, but I had to stick with RED’s beer. Caipi is on my list of forbidden drinks, since I passed out (and puked) on a summer party about 5 years ago, after about 10 of them :-)

Anyway. Well done Saatchi. Hope to be invited to another party soon … and no worries. I will not drink any of my forbidden drinks.

Well, I left around midnight and the party was still kickin’. Had to meet some other friends and we went to Krisha for another loooong night, but that is a different story. By the way, since about a month Krisha has a new “feis” control. There is Natasha, an angry looking girl and a guy. Its harder to get inside now and the crowd upstairs has changed (in a negative way).
