Politicians are discussing a speed limit for German highways these days, within the climate control and global warming debate in Europe. Well, I have a purely capitalistic approach: Just make gas even more expensive so people like me think twice, before they push the pedal and burn 15-20 liters of gas per 100 kilometers. I guess most of us would go slowly and use half of the gas if it would cost 3 or 5 times what it is now. But of course there is an automobile lobby, a oil lobby and and and.
