Oleg just sent this link to me. This site shows the same Moscow street from 12 to 5 PM in photos. There are many more photos on the site. Check it out.

The heat is unbearable and at least twice a day we have heavy thunderstorms flying over the city. First you have blue skies with some nice white puffy clouds. No sight of the dangerous impressive strato cumulus thunderstorm clouds. Only 20 minutes later you can see them moving in. A fast moving first grey layer promises nothing good. The speed in which these clouds travel frightens me and quite frankly, I have never seen something like this. It almost looks like a sandstorm in some desert movie.
It rains for about 20-30 minutes and an hour later everything is gone again.
The rain and hale are so strong that the cities canalization cannot take the water anymore and you’ll have severe flooding all over the place.
The Russian site Debri.ru has lots of impressive and scary photos of todays “lunch” thunderstorm.
Who lives in Moscow knows it anyway, but now its official: Moscow is the most expensive city in the world.
According to a study of Mercer Human Resources Consulting Moscow climbed to rank one and pushed down Tokyo.

Alberto is an Argentinian Webdesigner living in Munich. He seems pretty frustrated with the work situation and his clients. Alberto needs a holiday, but the money is low. So he decides to put up a site to look for someone who sponsors his next holiday. It reminds me a little on the 1 Million Pixel Site, but he seems to have success with it. The German BILD Zeitung wrote about him and now he has a few potential sponsors for his next holiday already.
Go see yourself …http://www.i-need-a-holiday.com
Enjoy it Alberto.
Oh man. What is the problem with Russia and Germany? The German soccer team is playing right now and its not anywhere on TV. Instead they show Costa Rica – Poland, which is not an important game at all, because both teams will not get further.
While all Germany is watching this game now I am sitting here left with the Internet. My game will be shown as a recording at 8 PM on the national Sports channel (that’s how important it is), but by then I will know the score already and it will not be interesting for me to watch it anymore. 120 000 Germans in Moscow right now and no way of watching the game other than in the German Embassy and the Deutsch-Russisches Haus. Agggh. Maybe if I’m fast enough I can make it to the Deutsch-Russisches Haus. I’m frustrated.
